EXPOSING SPROUTS TO LIGHT
It’s crucial to Expose Sprouts to light.
Light triggers PHOTOSYNTHESIS.
Sprouts need light for their growth. light prevents them from becoming "leggy" and weak.
After seeds have germinated and developed their first leaves (cotyledons), they should be exposed to light for 12 to 18 HOURS a day to ENCOURAGE GREENING and most importantly NUTRIENT DEVELOPMENT.
Growing sprouts in the dark results in pale, milder-tasting sprouts.
LIGHT EXPOSURE —— makes the sprouts greener and more robust-flavored.
